India’s eternal mystic city


Pushkar, in Sanskrit “blue Lotus flower”, according to the etymology Hindus think that the gods released a swan with a Lotus bud in his beak . The place where the Lotus bloomed was called Pushkar. Pushkar derived from word ‘pushkarini’ – lake. It can be derived from word Pushpa means flower and Kar means hand.

It is one of the oldest available towns of India which is a town in the district of Ajmer in the Indian’s state of Rajasthan. It has lain 14 km northwesterly from Ajmer in an average elevation of 510 metres and is one five bless dhams (pilgrim’s journey side) for devout Hindus.

Only temple of the Hindu God brahma:-

It is a Hindu temple which lies within Pushkar close to holy Pushkar brine to which his legend has an unextinguishable connection.
